GRAMMY® Award-nominated metal legends Sevendust have returned with the announcement of their upcoming album Truth Killer, marking off number 14 for the band. Now signed to Napalm Records, Truth Killer follows on the heels of 2020’s popular release, Blood & Stone that raised the eyebrows of familiar and new fans alike with their cover of Soundgarden‘s “The Day I Tried To Live“. Truth Killer puts forth the band’s original and current lineup – Lajon Witherspoon, Clint Lowery, John Connolly, Vince Hornsby, and Morgan Rose that gives fans the familiar 1997 sound from their debut. Friend, collaborator and producer, Michael ‘Elvis’ Baskette once again joins in to produce Truth Killer to aid in the band’s full creation of the 12, mind-blowing tracks that make up the album.

Starting with the insightful opening of “I Might Let The Devil Win” and turning to the classic Sevendust sound that comes with “Fence“, the 12 songs that make up Truth Killer portray the varying styles and inspirations that has aided the band in conquering the Metal fandom. Tracks like “Everything,” “Truth Killer” and “Holy Water” bring about the Sevendust elements known and admired throughout the years but, with a more modern twist. With “Fence” debuting as the first single from the album, it is accompanied by a claymation music video, directed and animated by none other than Ollie Jones. The video brings on the story of a Sevendust show that sees a chemical leak occur, turning the band into a bunch of zombies but will the immortal Sevendust live on?

Truth Killer is set to debut on July 28th, 2023 via Napalm Records. You can pre-order your own copy of the album via the direct title link.

You can also catch the band on their upcoming tour with Alter Bridge that kicks off later this month! Ticket info can be found via Sevendust‘s website!
