Dawn of Ashes’ Kristof Bathory has unveiled the promo for his upcoming dark ambient project titled Void Stasis. Kristof teams up with Scott Denman of Die Sektor and Marie Ann Hedonia for the debut album of this ambitious project titled “Ruins” that drops May 24th, 2022 on Cryo Chamber.

Our glimpse of this project is just over 7-minutes in length, and takes to the darker side of Scifi with atmospheric pressure, and beautifully crafted melody that evokes both fear and wonder on another level. Within the first few seconds, I was hooked, and had to listen further. I immediately wanted more, with the depth of “Ruins” alone carving out a dark passage in my mind to pave the way for further exploration, no matter how terrifying.

After having reviewed his collaboration work with Sam Astaroth on his latest solo, “Dualism”, I shouldn’t have been surprised that I’d quickly be pulled in by this level of intensity. It’s cinematic level in its execution, with epic strength and vivid, thought-provoking interludes that blend with the overall harmony to not only create the ambiance as intended but, paint brilliant visuals of star-soaring Ships, and ethereal Creatures from beyond.
