With their newest single, “Holiday” currently reigning in the Top 30 on Active Rock radio, and U.S. tour dates selling out in record time, the illustrious rockers of Alter Bridge have announced a run of May headline tour dates in support of their recent album Pawns & Kings.

The 2023 Pawns & Kings US Tour will have nine stops added to the tour as well as a recently dropped festival announcement for Welcome to Rockville happening on May 20th. The headline dates kick off on May 6th in Greensboro, NC wrapping up on May 19th in Dothan, AL. Directly supporting Alter Bridge will be Sevendust, making stops alongside the rockers in Charlotte, NC on May 9th, Chattanooga, TN on May 14th, and New Orleans, LA on May 17th, among others. You can find ticket info as well as VIP updates at https://alterbridge.com/pages/tour .

Pawns & Kings – the band’s seventh studio album – was unveiled to the world on October 14th, 2022 via Napalm Records. From the very beginning, “This is War” brings the energy, letting it elevate all the way to the album’s closing title track “Pawns & Kings“. Alter Bridge once again return, bringing a ferocious tandem of tracks to conquer the sadness that came when the pandemic cut their last album short. Songs like “Dead Among The Living,” “Holiday” and “Last Man Standing” display the signature songwriting ability the band has become known for. Offering a number of tantalizing adventures, and a fair amount of lengthy tracks, Alter Bridge takes their rock journey to the next level. Clocking in at 8.29 is “Fable of the Silent Son” – the band’s mighty opus, and is the longest recorded track in the band’s history, beating out “Blackbird“. Mark Tremonti is seen stepping out of his backing vocal role in the shadows to take the helm on “Stay“, a ballad that’s sure to bring fans to their news when witnessed live.

With the latest single, “Holiday” being released, and easily becoming a fan favourite since its debut, we see the return of longtime video collaborator Dan Sturgess of Sturge Media – known well for capturing the band’s stunning performance with the Parallax Orchestra on Alter Bridge: Live at The Royal Albert Hall.
