When a star falls from the sky, they believe that a hero is reborn. From smoldering ash and charred earth, a new Legend is set to arise – Angus McSix.

After the valiant death of the beloved Prince Angus, Scotland’s hope, alongside the entire galaxy’s, seemed to be waning. But, the legendary warrior has fought his way to return to our world as the renewed Angus McSix, presenting the brand new album Angus McSix and the Sword of Power!

The new band features Angus McSix (Thomas Winkler), archdemon Seebulon (Sebastian “Seeb” Levermann), Nordic Muscle Berserker Skaw! (Manu Lotter), and the gorgeous Lazer-Amazonian Queen, Thalesris (Thalia Bellazecca). Featuring a myriad of adventures, mishaps, and the mystery within, Angus McSix sets forth with his new allies to free Scotland, and all of mankind from the clutches of evil!

Having died heroically in one of the most epic battles in the history of goblin and man, the hope that both Scotland and the galaxy so desperately clung to seemed to dwindle. Floating away in the Realm of Martyrs, Angus was lost in a haze of his former glory. But, when that past sinks in once again, he remembers the threat upon his home, and the Prince once again takes up arms, setting forth on his return to the world of the living.

Sealed by the almighty sword Sixcalibur, the Prince’s only option for return is through a Hell portal. Upon drawing the blade, Angus is stricken with golden light, seeing his purpose and promise renewed, as Angus McSix. Released from the constricting grasp of the underworld, Angus returns to defeat his old foe; but, unbeknownst to him, he has left the gateway wide open to a much darker power – the archdemon Seebulon, the source of ALL evil.

ANGUS McSIX on “Master of the Universe”:
“Like warriors before a decisive battle, we have waited. Finally, the day has come to join you in forming a new, invincible army of thousands of loud voices. The epic first single features the legendary renowned vocals of our Prince, blended with energizing and elated power metal harmony. A fine introduction to our Prince’s return, setting the path ablaze for new adventure and glory. This cinematic-style video unveils our hero’s brand new visage in full brilliance for the very first time, ready and willing to face the challenges ahead with glittering golden armour, and unwavering confidence.

It’s got the right balance of epic and cheese right from the beginning. Taking playful shots at Winkler’s former life as Angus McFife, lyrics like “glory left my hammer but, now I wield a sword,” gains a chuckle but works in the build up for the Prince’s new identity. Battered and bruised, Angus recalls his glory and ignites the realms with glittering gold and newfound confidence.

“All my green has turned to gold, new forces will unfold,” once again plays on the past, furthering our hero’s journey to once again rejoin the battle but, this time he’s not along. Maxing out the cheese we get a Viking Warrior, and a beautiful Amazonian who shimmer in the Prince’s shared light against a Futuristic fantasy backdrop. Tell me a giant flying space bird isn’t both cool and cheesy as hell.

I’ll admit, upon Seebulon’s debut at the end I was waiting for the signature “NYAH!” to erupt (Masters of the Universe anyone? C’mon!) but it never came. Still, I won’t deny the excitement and curiosity that has me waiting to hear and see more from Angus McSix!
