To celebrate their first live album release in over two decades, the legendary Extreme Metallers, Cradle of Filth, unveil the music video for “Demon Prince Regent” to pave the way for Trouble and Their Double Lives – out NOW via Napalm Records! The album not only features some classic tracks like “Bathory Aria” and “Lustmord and Wargasm” but fan favourites like “Nymphetamine” and “Born in a Burial Gown” alongside two brand new studio tracks!

CRADLE OF FILTH master of ceremonies Dani Filth says about the track and live album release:

“The footage for the studio track ‘Demon Prince Regent’ was filmed on the road whilst recently undertaking the co-headline ‘Double Trouble Live’ tour with DevilDriver in the US. 
The video is a logical visual bridge between airing the second studio track and the actual live album, wherein you also get the luxury of seeing our repugnant faces.

As for the album itself, I hope everyone enjoys this cantankerous volley of s(hits) just as much as we enjoyed making them, with songs stolen from Cradle shows from all across the world. 

And as cliche as it sounds, ‘this album is totally for the fans… Let’s see those f**king horns!!!’”

Keeping with the classic sound and vocals, Cradle of Filth leave no intensity to be desired with “Demon Prince Regent” as you feel the shock wave of energy emitting from this track and its accompanying video. The crowd-surfing, the head-banging, and the bodies flying everywhere are signature traits of CoF’s performance presence. Having experienced them live in a multitude of eras myself, it’s refreshing to see that though some changes have hit CoF, as they have many bands, the sights and sounds remain the same.

Blackness consumes, as vicious riffs tear right through the bone. Dani’s vocals are signature and familiar, hammering in the harsh tone we’ve all come to adore, while still letting his range ascend, and drown whenever necessary. It’s beautiful yet grim, haunting yet melancholic in essence. Another timeless track to add to CoF‘s repertoire.
