Squidhammer has been working non-stop on its first-of-its-kind Wisconsin vocalist collaboration album titled Hail The Squid. This ambitious project consists of 12 tracks which are to be co-written and performed by vocalist Ericka, alongside some of Wisconsin’s most powerful metal vocalists; all of which will have key roles in helping to create a bigger, and badder name for Squidhammer! The new release “Hamrammr” is the first of four songs currently prepared for release, and features the vocal duality of Ericka and Marq Pointer of WI heavy metal outfit H1Z1. Marq not only accompanies Ericka in a blistering vocal performance but, with unmatched prowess in the new music video.

The introductory growl that Marq brings in is like an atomic bomb going off – unleashing chaos and dismay as this track kicks off with unrivaled energy. Ericka’s performance rips through like shrapnel, with a chaotic presence that carries an aura of fury and insanity in its wake. Both vocalists mesh seamlessly in their pieces, allowing this track to blast through with mind-blowing drum beats, demonic bass, and furious riff work to share in the spotlight, rather than be shadowed by it.

The breakdown that accompanies Marq’s solo effort is infectious, bringing an unyielding heaviness that can’t be ignored. The mixture of chaotic, guttural growls, and shrill screams that unite these two vocal powerhouses is baffling, leaving for a track that’s not only complex and intense in its delivery but, strangely catchy as well.

Squidhammer will have upcoming monthly releases featuring collaborations with other Wisconsin Metal greats from bands such as Micawber, Toxic Ruin, Revolution-X, Casket Robbery, and more! They hope to show not only the country but, the entire world, just what the Wisconsin Metal scene has to offer!

Squidhammer camp is looking forward to an adrenaline-filled December with new music, and a partial US tour to close out the year so they can drop into 2023 with fever and momentum.
