Folk Metal favourite Eluveitie are fanning the flames Ànv‘s album hype with the release of their latest single “The Prodigal Ones“.

Following on the heels of last month’s “Premonition“, Eluveitie‘s latest drop echoes tales of the past, with hints of Eluveitie classics in its shadow. “The Prodigal Ones” chimes in on familiarity, with the passion and fervor of “Luxtos” in its heart, “Inis Mona” in its harmony, and even hints of “King” in its command.
The heaviness that demands attention from the moment this track begins pays homage to the Celtic Metal at Eluveitie‘s very core. Frontman Chrigel Glanzmann’s classic screams and vocal prowess stun and mesmerize, making this song all the more captivating before even hitting the 1-minute mark. The fantastic drum beats and defining guitar solo add to the mysticism of this fantastical track, with an intricately layered melody that perfectly ensnares the mind into an endless dream.
An instant favourite, this track is sure to be on the setlist for Eluveitie‘s upcoming Ànv Rising – Europe tour which begins today, and will likely accompany them on their tour with Arch Enemy, Amorphis and Gatecreeper in October.
You can pre-save Ànv here, set to drop on April 25th, 2025 via Nuclear Blast Records. And don’t forget to stay up-to-date on concert news, announcements, and much more by following Eluveitie‘s socials and the Eluveitie website.
