Lingering on minds and tongues, Takida officially signs on with Napalm Records! The band says: ”Exciting times are just around the corner and we can’t wait to start working with Napalm Records. Let’s do this!” 

The band’s latest single, “The Loneliest Hour,” comes alongside a peculiar new music video. The single follows their 2021 Falling From Fame album, once more embodying Takida’s distinct sound and stance with a catchy chorus and relentless power as presented by vocalist Robert Pettersson.

“‘The Loneliest Hour’ is about seeking the ultimate thrill, constantly being on the verge of losing one’s footing, until eventually being unable to resist the obsessive thoughts. To become too greedy and seek something better, and in the end, one loses everything, over and over again.

Formed in 1999, Takida sits at the top of the Swedish Rock scene with 6 platinum singles (one sitting at 4x platinum), 3 platinum albums, and at least 5 – #1 albums. Already gaining traction as they top International Radio charts, Takida’s growth continues on its steady course. Currently on the biggest tour of their career thus far, spanning across festivals and areans such as Wacken Open Air, the band continues to mount their own success and determination with more vigor than ever before.

Kicking off their Swedish Summer tour on Jul 13th with a total of 9 shows, they’ll continue to run through Germany and hope to conquer the world soon after.
