Continuing to stretch his genre-expansive claws, Sam Astaroth is joined by Shush and Roma Jonson to bring us another terrifyingly upbeat single – “Semi-dead Status.” Having boasted an array of intoxicating and unstoppable collaborations, Sam ceases to show a lack of momentum as week after week he pummels us with new and exciting concoctions
Previous tracks like “Demoncore,” “Fxck It Up!”, and one of my personal favourites, “100 Nxzi Scalps,” have been cranked to the max, raking in view after view and subsequent stream after stream as more and more listeners fall under Sam’s spell.
“Semi-dead Status” sees a mash up of two of my own favourite (current) Animes, Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man, offering up a buffet of blood, violence, and vengeance to match the reltneless energy that these three creatives bring to the table. It brings the signature vocal prowess Sam has to offer with his performance range, accompanied by a new but familiarly addictive beat and eerie, deranged whispers.
It’s a quick, break your neck snap of a track that once again proves Sam can only soar ever higher, topping his own previous releases, week after week, with new and inspiring content.

Check out the previous drops like “Sumerian Tongues”, and blood-rave style favourite “Insidious” via Sam’s Youtube, Spotify, or other streaming services. You can also keep up with Sam and all his releases, including previews and more by following his socials including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and more! And as trends have set, stay tuned for a brand new release THIS FRIDAY!
You can also follow SHUSH via the direct link. And Roma Jonson via their direct link as well for collaborations, creations, and content galore!

Thank you so much for this exciting review of Semi-Dead Status! You perfectly caught on to the vibes of this song! Also, really appreciate your celebration of my musical catalog in the last year and a half! Love how you went back in time earlier this year to Insidious to Sumerian Tongues to 100 Nxzi Scalps to last year’s Fxck It Up and Demoncore! It’s nice to read your reviews again!
